Low-Carb Lemon Garlic Baked Salmon

Lemon Garlic Baked Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to make the marinade.

  • Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon the marinade over the salmon, making sure to coat both sides evenly.

  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.

  • Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together.

  • Garnish the salmon with freshly chopped parsley and serve it hot.

You can pair this delicious low-carb salmon with a side of steamed vegetables or a crisp salad for a complete and healthy meal. Enjoy!
