Lemon Garlic Baked Salmon
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to make the marinade.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon the marinade over the salmon, making sure to coat both sides evenly.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together.
Garnish the salmon with freshly chopped parsley and serve it hot.
You can pair this delicious low-carb salmon with a side of steamed vegetables or a crisp salad for a complete and healthy meal. Enjoy!
